Mission
The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across departments to evaluate business needs, analyze data, and identify solutions that align with company goals. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong analytical abilities, a talent for solving problems, and excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between business and technical teams. To be considered for this role, all applicants are required to be fluent in Mandarin.

In person in our Chicago office.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have demonstrated the following:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, identifying key objectives and translating them into actionable insights.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to understand trends, measure performance, and evaluate potential improvements.
- Develop process maps, workflows, and documentation to clarify business needs and ensure accurate project scoping.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate findings and track progress on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Work with development and project teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and guide solution implementation.
- Assist in the testing and quality assurance process for new solutions, validating outcomes to ensure they meet business requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and training to stakeholders on new processes, systems, and tools as needed.
Skill and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Mandarin fluency is mandatory, as you will be in constant contact with colleagues on our tech team in China.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data analysis or visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies, including Agile or Waterfall, and familiarity with project management practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and balancing multiple projects.
