Mission
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to spearhead sales efforts within the hedge fund sector. This role is critical to our mission of expanding our client base and delivering tailored legal tech solutions to meet the unique needs of hedge funds. The ideal candidate will combine a deep understanding of the financial services industry with exceptional sales and relationship management skills.

Remote with occasional travel as needed.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have demonstrated the following:
- Business Development: Identify and engage potential hedge fund clients through market research, networking, and industry events.
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and cultivate long-term relationships with stakeholders, including General Counsels, Compliance Officers, and other key decision-makers within hedge funds.
- Consultative Sales: Understand the specific compliance, legal, and operational challenges faced by hedge funds to effectively position our solutions.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve or exceed revenue targets in the hedge fund vertical.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activity to inform sales tactics and product positioning.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with internal teams—including product development, marketing, and customer success—to ensure client satisfaction and solution alignment.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurate records in the CRM system to track leads, opportunities, and revenue forecasts.
Skill and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales or account management, with a proven track record in the financial services or legal tech sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of hedge fund operations, compliance requirements, and industry pain points.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to present complex solutions to senior-level executives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and familiarity with SaaS or legal technology solutions.
- Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
