Mission
The mission of the Senior Data Scientist at Bridge Legal is to lead and innovate in the field of data science, with a specific focus on owning and structuring all Business Intelligence Reporting. This role involves standardizing data definitions of key metrics to ensure consistency and accuracy across reports. Additionally, the Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for developing advanced data science strategies and solutions to enhance legal services and operational efficiency. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing machine learning models, and leveraging data analytics to improve client experiences and business outcomes. The Senior Data Scientist will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the Business Intelligence Reporting framework, ensuring standardization and consistency in data definitions and metrics across the organization.
- Implement data-driven strategies and machine learning models to enhance legal services, client engagement, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization in legal and business processes.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to leverage data for decision-making and strategic planning.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of data models and algorithms, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness.
- Drive innovation in legal tech by staying abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science and AI.
Skill and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a Data Scientist role, preferably in a legal or tech-driven environment.
- Proficiency in statistical computer languages (Python, R, SQL) and experience with data architecture.
- Strong understanding of machine learning techniques and their practical applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Proven leadership abilities and experience in managing cross-functional projects.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively across teams and with stakeholders at various levels.
